- 01Yeah, I actually moved to a completely different city about two years ago, mainly because of a new job.
- 02It was a pretty big change since I didn't know a single person there when I first arrived.
- 03The hardest part in the beginning was figuring out all the little things, like which bus to catch or where the nearest supermarket was.
- 04On top of that, my new place was much smaller than my old one, so I ended up having to sell or give away a lot of my furniture.
- 05I still remember getting totally lost during my first week because my phone died and I had no idea how to find my way back to my flat.
- 06A random stranger ended up walking me halfway home, which honestly made me feel a lot less alone in that new place.
- 07Looking back, I think moving somewhere unfamiliar forces you to become more independent way faster than you'd expect.
